Hello from the Team at Cure Pennsylvania! We are thrilled to be this weeks PA Cannabis News Sponsor Spotlight feature and are excited to tell you what we have been up to in the first few months of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana program. At Cure Pennsylvania, we believe in supporting the communities that allow us to provide plant medicine. To us, this means engaging with our patients outside of the dispensary in the realms of overall wellness, environmental sustainability and philanthropic measures.
First off, we want to boast about a wonderful organization very near and dear to our heart. “Campaign for Compassion, C4C, is a Pennsylvania based group of medical marijuana patients and caregivers. This group of parents, patients and activists began lobbying for a PA medical marijuana program when the current medical system had left them without options. They pride themselves on advocacy, education and research. We felt so strongly passionate about the work that C4C was pursuing, that on our grand opening day we made a $20,000 contribution to the organization to fuel future advocacy efforts. You can learn more about C4C here.
Secondly, we want to tell you about our wellness fair that happened on 4/21/18. Since coming into the dispensary isn’t an option without a medical card, we wanted to do something that would show our gratitude to the local Lancaster community and our patients alike. We teamed up with some incredible local businesses and hosted a free event with live original music. What a blast!
